Grotto Fungicide / Bactericide

Description

Grotto Fungicide/Bactericide(*non-public health bacteria) is a patented, fixed liquid copper formulation for broad spectrum control of several listed fungal and bacterial diseases on greenhouse and shadehouse vegetables and herbs, ornamentals and turf. Grotto Fungicide/Bactericide(*non-public health bacteria) is made by combining soluble copper with a fatty acid. The copper and the fatty acid combine to form a copper salt of the fatty acid known technically as a true soap. The copper soap fungicide controls listed diseases using low concentrations of copper which results in an effective fungicide/bactericide with little risk of phytotoxicity.

Use Grotto Fungicide/Bactericide(*non-public health bacteria) in a disease control program at 0.5 to 2.0 gallons per 100 gallons (64 to 256 fl. oz./100 gallons) and apply to one (1) acre. Initiate applications at first sign of disease or when conditions are favorable for disease development. If necessary, repeat applications should be made at 7 to 10 day intervals. A spreader may be used to improve the spreading of Grotto Fungicide/Bactericide(*non-public health bacteria) on hard to wet plants and can be tank mixed with other fungicides (see label for more information).

Disease control is an ongoing problem in all agricultural settings but is especially difficult for organic growers in nursery and greenhouse settings. Grotto Fungicide/Bactericide(*non-public health bacteria) provides these growers, especially organic growers and applicators to sensitive areas, with an efficacious and cost-effective tool to stay ahead of this challenge.

Grotto Fungicide/Bactericide(*non-public health bacteria) is listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute and is suitable for organic production.
